House hockey offers a full season of instructional recreational hockey. We have five age groups for youth hockey: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U. These breakdowns are determined by birth year. Our 8U program is geared to be more in-house and require minimal travel. Our 10U program includes a mix of in-house and home/away games against other regional teams. 12U, 14U, and 18U consist of home/away games and have more out-of-town travel than our younger age groups. Each age group may have additional tournaments at an extra cost. Tournaments are at the coach’s discretion and are not guaranteed.
Youth house hockey is intended for players with 1 or more years of hockey experience. If you are new to hockey, or looking for a Learn to Play/Development program, please consider our Learn to Play Program or Girls Development Program.
While each season has its uniqueness, this table gives you a rough estimate of what to expect for each age group. Please note that this is not a guarantee for what you will receive in a given season.

* PYHA will make reasonable attempts to hold a home tournament for all age levels each season. Tournaments are at the coach's discretion and may fluctuate based on interest and availability. Tournaments are an additional cost and are not included in the PYHA registration fee.
