Brianna Decker Endowment Fund Grant Received
At the end of its first season the PYHA Girls Hockey Program has received a generous grant from USA Hockey Foundation's Brianna Decker Endowment Grant to carry it into its second season.
The funds provide a great boost for recruiting and equipment for 8U and 10U girls. Many thanks to USA Hockey Foundation for supporting our new girls hockey program and to Brianna Decker for inspiring a new generation of female hockey players.
From the grant application:
"Awards ... will be used exclusively to develop programs focused on increasing female youth participation in hockey by alleviating costs around ice and equipment, advertising and marketing, and overall development."
The PYHA Board has approved player registration fees for the 2022- 2023 hockey season.
For registration completed by September 15:
6U $100
8U $400 10U $450
12U $500 14U $600
18U $850
Fees at 6U are discounted and are not subject to further reduction.
Don't be caught by surprise! USA Hockey has adopted a registration fee structure that varies with age. Please see the file below.
Six and under (6U) players are no longer free to register. There will be a $15 fee for them to register with USA Hockey.
Thank you for interest in PYHA's Learn to Play Hockey. Our regular hockey season is over for this year. Look for season registrations opening by September 2022 for the 2022 -2023 season.
We are working to acquire additional gear with USA Hockey and Idaho grants to allow us to host more sessions. We will offer a fall program as well as Try Hockey For Free sessions for youth and for girls.
See you on the ice!
